MetLife - Free “Teaching Your Teen to Drive” Brochure + Cash & Bond Programs

Met Life wants parents and guardians to share their experiences, so they offer the “Sunday Drive” program in most states. Your teen can earn an $100 U.S. savings bond for logging one drive a week for twenty weeks (of 30 minutes or more any day of the week) with a parent or guardian as the passenger.

Met Life’s “Drive Safe and Cash In” program sends qualifying teenagers, who are insured on their auto insurance policies, $50 each year that they drive without accidents, claims, or violations. Teens can enroll in the program by signing a pledge card in which they promise to always wear a seat belt and to never drink and drive. Available in most states.

The cash and bond award programs are available to teenagers who are:
• Age 16 to 19
• Licensed drivers in the states in which the program is available
• Auto policyholders with MetLife Auto & Home or insured on a parent’s or guardian’s MetLife Auto & Home policy at the time of enrollment and the time of award redemption.
