100 Organic Garden Kits Giveaway to Schools
Annie’s believes that gardening is the tool to connect communities to real food. That’s why we’ve teamed up with KIWI® Magazine and the National Gardening Association to support garden projects in schools. We know school gardens help students connect with nature and better understand where their food comes from, as well as provide a context for teaching nutrition and encouraging healthy lifestyles.Â
In Fall 2008, Annie’s and KIWI® Magazine will donate $35,000 to the National Gardening Association’s Adopt a School Garden Program™, and will give away 100 Organic Garden Kits to schools across the country so they can help plant the seeds for learning. Any school can participate, and every school can benefit.
A total of 100 winners from all eligible entries will be selected on or about November 30, 2008.
